DISTINCTIONS
GWI holds a variety of professional designations and has been identified for its excellence in design.
NCIDQ Licensed
Gina Wileman, owner of GWI, passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) exam in October 2005 (NCIDQ Certificate No. 020974). According to the NCIDQ:
“The core purpose of NCIDQ is to protect the health, life, safety, and welfare of the public by establishing standards of competence in the practice of interior design.
The NCIDQ serves to identify to the public those interior designers who have met the minimum standards for professional practice by passing the NCIDQ examination.
It is more important than ever for clients and the public to expect interior design professionals to demonstrate their competency in all areas of interior design. It is not enough for a provider of interior design services to understand just the aesthetics. The designed safety of interior for home owners, business owners, or users of public or private spaces requires much more in today’s complex world.”
ASID Professional Membership

Gina is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). According to the ASID:
“ASID interior designers have the training and expertise to manage all the details of your project. They know the importance of listening to your ideas and understanding your needs. From consultation to planning to the finishing touches, they can help you every step of the way, explaining your choices and adding value to your budget."
Members of ASID receive the most current education on appropriate materials, technology, building codes, government regulations, health and safety standards, design psychology, and product performance.”
